Privacy policy

AnaVitalis Pty Ltd (ACN 703 031 565), "we" or "us", makes the AnaVitalis app and the quiz at findyouranamo.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

Last updated: 13 October 2026. Version 0.1.

1. The short version

• The quiz runs on your device. Nothing you answer on findyouranamo.com leaves your browser unless you choose to join the testing phase.
• Your information is stored in Australia (Amazon Web Services, Sydney).
• We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
• No one monitors your answers or your activity for signs that you need help. In an emergency, call 000. For support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time: [email protected].

2. What we collect

If you take the quiz only

• Nothing. Your answers and report stay in your browser. We use no cookies, analytics or tracking on findyouranamo.com.
• As with any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic connection details such as your IP address so it can deliver the page securely. We don't use them to identify you.

If you join the testing phase

• Who you are: your name and email address.
• About you: your job (category and title), and the AnaMo and version you chose.
• Your quiz answers and result: everything except the health section.
• Your health answers, only if you tick the box to save them. These cover health conditions, heart health, food and eating, mood, worry and focus.
• Your consent: which boxes you ticked, when, and which version of this policy and the terms you saw.

When you use the app

• Your account: sign-in details, settings and time zone.
• What you log and do: workouts, check-ins, the gems and progress you earn, and anything you type or say to the app's coach.
• If you turn them on:
  • health data from Apple Health or Health Connect, if you connect it
  • your calendar availability, if you connect a calendar
  • team and connection features, if you use them
• How the app is used: for example, which screens are opened and whether features work. This is linked to your account, so we can fix problems and improve the app.

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

3. Health information is sensitive

• Your health answers, and some of what you log or tell the app (for example how you feel, or about an injury), are health information. The law treats this as sensitive information.
• We collect it only with your consent, to provide and improve AnaVitalis for you and, with details that identify you removed, for research (see section 4).
• Saving your quiz health answers is optional. If you don't save them, the app asks again when you first sign in.

4. Why we use your information

• To review your application to join the testing phase. We approve every tester by hand.
• To set up your account, so your AnaMo and answers are already there when you sign in.
• To provide the app: your plans, coaching, progress and reminders.
• To contact you about your account and the testing phase.
• To keep AnaVitalis safe and secure, and to fix problems.
• To improve AnaVitalis.
• For research. By joining the testing phase, you agree that your information may be used for future research, with your name, email and any other details that identify you removed. Any research study using it must first be approved by a human research ethics committee for the types of information it uses. This includes studies that look back at information already collected. Because you agreed when you joined, we won't need to contact you again before an approved study uses your information. Joining the testing phase means agreeing to this; it isn't a separate choice.

We don't use your information for anything else unless you agree, or the law requires or allows it.

5. The app's coach

• What you type or say to the coach is processed by an AI model to write its replies.
• The model runs on Amazon Web Services in Sydney, and your messages stay in Australia.
• Your messages aren't used to train anyone else's AI models.
• The coach gives general wellness information, not medical advice.

6. Who we share it with

• The AnaVitalis team: only the people who need it to run the testing phase.
• Service providers who help us run AnaVitalis. They may use your information only to provide their service to us:
  • Amazon Web Services: hosting, storage, sign-in and email, in Sydney.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
  • Google Workspace: our email. Your application summary (name, email, AnaMo and job, no health answers) is sent to our team inbox.
  • Apple, Google and Expo: push notifications, if you turn them on.
• Anyone else: only if you ask us to, or if the law requires it, for example a court order. We may also share it to prevent a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety.

We don't sell your information, or share it for advertising.

7. Information overseas

• We store your information in Australia.
• Some of our service providers may process limited information outside Australia:
  • Google Workspace processes our email, which includes your application summary but not your health answers.
  • Apple, Google and Expo deliver push notifications, if you turn them on.
  • Cloudflare's global network delivers our website.
• Where this happens, we choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.

8. How we protect it

• Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Access is limited to the people who need it.
• Accounts are protected by sign-in.
• Health answers are never written to our logs or analytics.
• No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.

9. How long we keep it

• If we don't accept your application: we delete your information within 30 days.
• While your account is open: we keep your information.
• If you stop using the app: we keep your information and may keep using it as this policy describes. We don't delete it automatically just because you stop using the app.
• If you ask us in writing to delete your information or close your account (email [email protected], or use Delete my account in the app's Settings): we delete it within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep. Copies in our secure backups are removed automatically within 35 days. Information that has already had your identifying details removed for improvement or research can't be linked back to you, so it can't be deleted.
• When the testing phase ends: we'll tell you what happens to your account before it ends.

10. Your choices and rights

• See and correct: you can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it.
• Delete: you can ask us in writing to delete your information or close your account, or use Delete my account in the app's Settings. Your information is only deleted when you ask.
• Change your mind: you can withdraw consent for saving your health answers, or ask us to close your account at any time. We'll stop using your information from then on, apart from information that has already had your identifying details removed.
• Stay anonymous: you can take the quiz without telling us who you are. To use the app, we need your name and email.

To do any of these, email [email protected]. We'll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm who you are first.

11. Complaints

• If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email [email protected], and we'll respond within 30 days.
• If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992.

12. Changes to this policy

• We'll post any update here with a new date.
• If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
