The basics
What is AnaVitalis?
A wellness app that plans small, realistic habits around your roster, family and energy: training, meals, rest, money and time outside, with a coach in the voice of your AnaMo character.
Who is it for?
Anyone whose days don't run nine to five, with shift workers and busy families first. You don't need to be fit, or to have tried a health app before.
What's an AnaMo?
One of twelve Australian animal characters that describe how you live and what motivates you, such as Nova the Night Owl or Skye the Juggler. Together with one of four Elements, it shapes how the app talks to you and what it suggests. You find yours with the free quiz at findyouranamo.com.
When can I start?
The founding beta opens in November. Take the quiz and join the waitlist, and we'll invite members from the waitlist in groups. How joining works.
How much does it cost?
The quiz is free. We'll share pricing before anyone is asked to pay.
Which phones does it work on?
The beta runs as a web app on any modern phone browser, with an iPhone app in testing.
Health and safety
Is AnaVitalis medical advice?
No. It's a wellness app. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything and doesn't replace your GP. If you have a health condition, check with your doctor before changing how you exercise or eat.
Do I have to count calories or weigh myself?
No, never. The app doesn't show calories or macros, and your weight never decides what it suggests.
What happens if I'm struggling?
If you tell the coach you're in distress, it shows crisis support straight away: 000 in an emergency, or Lifeline on 13 11 14. The coach isn't a counsellor, and chats aren't monitored live by a person.
Will I be able to see a doctor through the app?
Not in the beta. In future we plan to offer optional access to clinicians for members who want it.
Privacy
What happens to my calendar and location?
Your calendar event titles and your location stay on your phone. The app uses only busy times and shifts. If you ask the coach for something near you, it uses a rounded position for that answer only and doesn't keep it.
Can my employer see my information?
No. If you join through a workplace team, your workplace and teammates see team totals only, never your answers, check-ins or health information.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from inside the app, at any time. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your information.
